Mik attaks a huge trout - they are a big treat to our fish populations.

When environmentalists let mink out of their cages in big mink farms, they actually do a very bad thing, simply because they are letting a very effective predictor out, which will have a very negative and dramatically effect on fish and bird populations. Watch this video and judge for your self .

Pool 32 Mag issue # 2 is now online.

We have now published our second issue of Pool 32 Mag . A Click on the headline above will get you directly to it - hope you will enjoy it.

And just two more fishing joke - while we are at it!!

Three blondes are sitting by the side of a river holding fishing poles with the lines in the water. A Game Warden comes up behind them, taps them on the shoulder and says, "Excuse me, ladies, I'd like to see your fishing licenses."
"We don't have any." replied the first blonde.
"Well, if your going to fish, you need fishing licenses." said the Game Warden.
"But officer," replied the second blonde, "we aren't fishing. We all have magnets at the end of our lines and we're collecting debris off the bottom of the river."
The Game Warden lifted up all the lines and, sure enough, there were horseshoe magnets tied on the end of each line. "Well, I know of no law against it," said the Game Warden, "take all the debris you want." And with that, the Game Warden left.
As soon as the Game Warden was out of sight, the three blondes started laughing hysterically. "What a dumb Fish Cop," the second blonde said to the other two, "doesn't he know that there are steelhead in this river?!"

A fisherman from the city was out fishing on a lake in a small boat.
He noticed another man in a small boat open his tackle box and take out a mirror. Being curious the man rowed over and asked, "What is the mirror for?"
"That's my secret way to catch fish," said the other man. "Shine the mirror on the top of the water. The fish notice the spot of sun on the water above and they swim to the surface. Then I just reach down and net them and pull them into the boat."
"Wow! Does that really work?"
"You bet it does."
"Would you be interested in selling that mirror? I'll give you $30 for it."
"Well, okay."
After the money was transferred, the city fisherman asked, "By the way, how many fish have you caught this week?"
"You're the sixth," he said.

I just have to show this little joke !!

Dear Readres

We have unfortunately been hit by a lot of technical problems regarding the publishing of our next issue of Pool 32 Mag.
BUT now we are almost finished with everything, and I can promise you this will be an issue worth waiting fore - an extra large issue of 306 pages, with a huge focus on Bristol Bay, a cause that worries us a lot.

Don't miss out on this issue - sign up - it's free for everyone, every where in this "universe" :O)

NEW RECORD! 2120g DRY FLY GRAYLING! 8.9.2010

Caught in Finland by Aki Huhtanen - beautiful fish - huge congratulations from Pool 32 Mag.

Maybe we should plan a trip one day to - "Grayling-land" - alias Finland"
 - it should be a absolutely fantastic fly fishing country, so I'm sure we could make a brilliant photo essay for Pool 32 Mag!!

The autumn Sea trout season has begun in Denmark.

Finally the wind has turned to a more southern direction, and that means the north shore of Sjælland is opening up for sea trout fishing, and right now all the factors are right, water temperature, length of the day etc. - But the best time is the sunset. The magical hour as we call it.
Here is a little photo essay from this week. My friend Svend caught some really strong and healthy sea trout the first morning. For two days we had absolutely tremendous fishing with fish following our fly's nearly every cast, and we were spotting them "head & tail" constantly - Pure Pürch fishing - it doesn't come any better.

I lost two really nice fish (guess I'm a bit rusty) but caught 16 in about 1 hour the second day - then it was all over again and they were gone - typically sea trout fishing, you have to be at the right place, at the right time!!.
Saturday it looks perfect again, but you have to be there at least half an hour before the sun shows.
