Help "Spotsman's Alliance for Alaska" and "Save BioGems" to send a clear message to Mitsubishi.
The giant Japanese corporation Mitsubishi holds roughly an 11% stake in Northern Dynasty Minerals, one of the partners in the proposed Pebble Mine project. Mitsubishi’s annual shareholder meeting is being held on June 24 in Tokyo, and we’d like to send a strong message to the company’s directors and shareholders that the Bristol Bay region is not appropriate for a massive mining project. Japan is a very big market for wild Alaska salmon.
The more mails they get, the more concerned they will bee - it is a simple fact, that we - the costumers - have a great power in our hands, we just have to use it.
Without no doubt they know that it takes a long time to build up a good brand, but it only takes a short time to ruin it again, by doing something we - the costumers don't like.
So send them the message today, send them a signal that this isn't just a local concern, it is a global concern.
